Take a Stitch Tuesday #19 - Bullion Knot

Alright - my first Take a Stitch Tuesday of 2015!

We have the Bullion Knot this week. 

After looking up many tutorials online for how to stitch the bullion knot, I found the video tutorial on Mary Corbet's Needle 'N Thread to be the most useful.

I struggled with this stitch at first. The light blue knots were my first stitches.

I took a break. The next day tried again and stitched the red knots. They look a little better.

Also, it's funny how the orange whipped wheel spokes look a lot like the bullion knots!
